Hello! We’re Preston & Sarah Lowder – Owners & Founders of Lowder Baking Company. We're both Shreveport, Louisiana natives, and we began Lowder Baking Company by making Lowder King Cakes from our home kitchen for family and friends during Mardi Gras seasons. We grew over the years, and then decided to take a leap of faith. We quit our full-time jobs and opened up our first bakery storefront in January 2019. We are thrilled to open our second bakery location in Ruston, Louisiana in January 2025!

Our menu will focus on Lowder King Cakes, Take & Bake meals (frozen), and a small selection of Breakfast Pastries, Cinnamon Rolls, and Cookies. We plan to expand to our full menu *after Mardi Gras season* to have our full bakery menu available, fresh baked in house. Our baked goods are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients.
